Subject: Search for Barbie Day 30

I can't believe it's been 30 days since my sweet little Barbie left. It seems like the search has taken over my life! Barbie has been gone for 1/4 of the total time that I've owned her now.

No one called to report a sighting today. I called the paper and changed the wording of my advertisement slightly, and renewed it for another 10 days.

Since it was so nice out today, I drove around during my lunch hour past the high school and the wooded area that borders the athletic fields. I didn't see Barbie, but maybe if I lay out a whole lot of french fries on the grass and then sat back to wait I'd have more luck (assuming that there's even a chance she might be in the area.)

Tonight after work, I went to Ivanhoes (famous for serving 100 different sundaes and 100 different milkshakes) with Diann from the Beagle Buddies. We chatted for hours. It was a delight to spend some time talking with another beagle person face to face! Diann has given info about Barbie to ARF which is a rescue organization that covers this area quite widely.

Well, tomorrow is another day -- a day that might see Barbie back home with me!
